Sara and Brian officially began B&S Goldens in 2016 with our first litter between Bear and Lily. From that litter our Khaleesi was born. We are a devoted small family breeding program located on a 24-acre farm in Alden, NY. This allows us to give each and every puppy the individual attention they need and deserve. Even before they’re born, our puppies are our babies, and we treat them as such. Every litter is raised in our home with every puppy incorporated into the family. They are provided the best upbringing we can give them based on our years of education in the field, gained knowledge, and science backed programs.

Sara
Sara is the heart and soul of B&S Goldens. Growing up in the country in a pet centered family, she was surrounded by animals. She had her first pony at the age of 4, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and of course dogs, there was never a time where animals weren’t a part of her life. Because of the joy the animals brought she knew she wanted to work with animals from a young age. What started as doctoring her stuffed animals developed into saving every stray or injured animal she came across.
Her mother’s friend and neighbor, Linda, owned Alden Boarding and Dog Training Center and bred show American Staffordshire Terriers. At the age of 9, sara was allowed the amazing opportunity to “work” there, cleaning up dog runs and exercising the “good” dogs. She learned a lot about dogs, but the most influential moment was watching her first litter be born. She was enthralled and this started Sara’s obsession with learning everything she could about puppies and dogs.
Through Alden Boarding and Dog Training Center Sara had first hand experience with bathing and grooming both dogs and cats, training, breeding programs, whelping, and, of course, caring for growing and developing puppies.
